has anybody heard of this shop in concord behind lowes speedway :?:and what do you know and think of them ? I thought about taking my 85 GT to them to redo my exhaust and carburator . I need to replace the older 650 holly on it and either go with another 650 or 670 cfm .

Dont kno too much about them...i did buy my exhaust through custom performance, but they didn't do the install...I would recommend Pro Dyno in Fort Mill...its about 30 minutes away, but Paul works there and they know their stuff when it comes to Mustangs

I agree...go to see Dan...thats what I mentioned earlier...but like said Chad said, u dont have to worry about MIL on ur model, bc its carbed...but I think the emission tests are only for 96 and newer...so u dont have to worry about cats at all...so u can go o/r with your mid pipe

Pro Dyno
3545 Centre Circle Dr
Fort Mill, SC 29715

We are just off exit 90 right nears Carowinds

As far as the O/R pipe goes : any car built after 1976 is technically still required to have catalytic converters, you may not get the same sound but a good set of high flow converters will give you the same horsepower boost as an off road pipe.

Also on the exhaust for the car the 85 stangs came with a single hump crossmember so if it isnt already upgraded to the newer double hump crossmember you will have to do that also.

It would be easier to take a look at the car and see what we are working with and then go from there

The address is 3545 Centre Circle...Fort Mill, SC...29715

But their easy to get to...just go I-85 S and hit I-77 S towards Columbia...get off at Carowinds Blvd, which i think is exit 90 (u'll be on 77 for about 15 miles)...turn left at the light...go to the next light and turn left...u'll go about half a mile or so and u'll turn left onto Centre Circle (there will be a sign that is a light grey with the states NC and SC on it in a light blue)...then u'll go about a 1/10 of a mile and they'll be on ur left...I think it the 3rd entrance, but not sure...u'll have to look for a Pro Dyno sign in the door...once u find it, pull around to the back

U'll see Paul's White 03 Cobra and a burgundy Ford F-250...and quite few other nasty Mustangs for that matter...lol
